Managing Director
Tom Mitchell brings over 15 years of institutional finance expertise to Zenith Horizon Capital. As a former Vice President in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Financial Institutions Group, Tom specialized in capital raises and M&A advisory for financial technology clients, where he first encountered blockchain’s disruptive potential.
During his tenure at BAML, Tom recognized early signals of crypto’s transformative impact on financial services, quietly building his knowledge and network in the space while still navigating traditional banking circles. In 2019, he made the decisive leap from institutional finance to crypto, initially as an angel investor and advisor to several DeFi protocols that achieved significant traction.
Tom founded Zenith Horizon Capital in 2021 with a singular focus on crypto investments, leveraging his unique perspective that bridges traditional capital markets expertise with deep crypto ecosystem understanding.
